Well another "Donkey" is in the books! The ICE Donkey Winter Adventure 2013 was a huge success with every having a blast, challenging themselves and laughing in the face of "Ol Man Winter"! Thanks so much to our amazing volunteers that cheered, boosted, encouraged and show what it takes to be AWESOME!!

The Ice Donkey Winter Adventure is back but with a new twist... The first ever Winter Obstacle Challenge! Can you get anymore Canadian than that!

Swamp Donkey Adventure Racing and Virgin Radio 103.1 want you... To join in the fun at this Fourth annual fantastic frosty event! On the heels of the tremendous success of the Dirty Donkey Mud Run, The ICE Donkey Winter Adventure will be incredible and unlike any other run out there!

Participate as teams of any size or solo in this winter running/ obstacle style event that will test your mettle over winter inspired obstacles and challenges. Compete against others, challenge yourself, or work as a team for ultimate abominable domination. This 5km run will include special winter obstacles/ challenges and whatever Mother Nature may throw at us! We are Winnipegger's after all and this kind of adventure is what we were made for!

Why wait for spring to get out and get moving when winter is here! Celebrate the snow and ice and we'll see you there on February 10, 2013 ...come blizzard, slush or shine! General Course Description

Following the tremendous success of the Dirty Donkey Mud Run Swamp Donkey Adventure Racing brought obstacle racing to Manitoba. The NEW ICE Donkey will be a 5km winter obstacle course mixing tough frosty obstacles and winter inspired challenges. Get ready for an incredible event and unlike any other run out there! The Ice Donkey 5km Winter Obstacle Run is the first of it's kind, so prepare yourself for this fun and frosty adventure! Stay tuned as we will be hitting the trail throughout the winter and posting up all the juicy details! See all the info below...

Category Descriptions

Teams

• Teams may be of any size and gender, all members on your team will race in the same heat
• All team members will be challenged to complete all obstacles on the race course
• A team member may choose an equal time challenge if they can't complete an obstacle
• Each member will wear a numbered pinnie throughout the race

Solo

• Solos must register as either male or female on the registration form
• All individuals will be challenged to complete all obstacles on the race course
• Individuals may choose an equal time challenge if they can't complete an obstacle
• Each individual will wear a numbered pinnie throughout the race
